Inspired as a child by the brilliant night sky in her small Arkansas hometown, Dr. Straughn uses data from the James Webb telescope to study how stars and black holes form in distant galaxies. As a project team member and communications liaison for NASA, she will display the latest jaw-dropping images received from the James Webb telescope and interept the mysteries of what lies beyond.
